The learning environment at Pikorua
In March 2021 Gails Childcare Centre joined our Tūī whānau. Gails has also been a family owned and operated childcare centre, opening in 1979.
Their whānau based philosophy and culture fit well with ours at Tūī, so we were excited to have the team join us.
Koru is a purpose built centre with a large playground.
Pikorua is a large villa (built by the first solicitor in Feilding in 1903). The centre is on a large site with extensive outdoor playgrounds, being integral to the philosophy of connecting our tamariki to nature.
Education Review Office (ERO) Akarangi: quality evaluation report evaluates the extent to which this early childhood service has the learning and organisational conditions to support equitable and excellent outcomes for all learners.
