Young Investigators caters for 2-5 years.
They are a smaller centre, with up to 30 children aged from 2 years to starting school.
The ratio is 1 teacher for every 7 children.
The learning environment at Young Investigators
Tūī bought Ready Steady Go in 2011, a converted home and transformed it into Tūī: Young Investigators which opened its doors in 2012. In 2022 they celebrated 10 years of being open and teaching over 200 children during that time.
Education Review Office (ERO) Akarangi: quality evaluation report evaluates the extent to which this early childhood service has the learning and organisational conditions to support equitable and excellent outcomes for all learners.
